Information on participation
for mentors
Are you working within a STEM field or studying a STEM subject? You feel like acting as a role model to inspire female students for your STEM field and as an expert to encourage girls to do more STEM activities? Then CyberMentor is just right for you.
All STEM women from business and science, as well as 3rd semester STEM students and 2nd year trainees are eligible to participate. Participation is free of charge.
What to expect at CyberMentor?
You are the personal mentor of a student (mentee) in grade 5 to 13 for one year. You share the same STEM interests and design your mentoring year individually in coordination with your mentee. Together, you will decide how extensively you will work on STEM projects. Ideally, you plan 30 minutes per week for exchange via chat, mail and forum on the protected online platform. Together with a second mentoring pair, you form a community. In case of time constraints, you can consult with your co-mentor and coordinate the mentoring of your mentees.
